Tucson Botanical Gardens is a major Tucson tourist attraction, and not just for plant lovers. Apart from a rich collection of cactus and desert wildflowers, the Tucson Botanical Gardens offer an educational walk around the history of the native Tohono O'odham Indians and the efforts of local scientists to preserve native seeds. Don't miss the wonderful Nuestro Jardin, the traditional Mexican-American neighborhood garden, or the shaded restaurant patio. Tucson Botanical Gardens Admission Charges are applicable.

Take a stroll through a 5-1/2 acre collection of 16 specialty gardens including Nuestro Jardin (Mexican-American Garden), a Xeriscape Garden and much more. This beautiful Tucson Botanical Gardens oasis was originally the home of Bernice and Rutger Porter. Dating to the 1920s, the earliest buildings on the property were constructed of adobe bricks made right on site. True to the vision of Mrs. Porter, Tucson Botanical Gardens is a place of beauty, inspiration, and education about the natural world. The Tucson Botanical Gardens features a seasonal live tropical butterfly exhibit, Butterfly Magic. Tucson Botanical Gardens Tours, group rates, and specialty classes available.
